Pinefields Pre-School meets at the Scouts and Guides Headquarters, Curriers Lane, Shifnal. Pre-school is open Monday to Friday from 9.15am until 1.15pm.

To enhance the development and education of children under 5 in a parent-involving, community-based group.

A high ratio of adults to children ensures that your child receives individual care and attention within a friendly environment. Children are guided through pre-school by a predetermined curriculum:

Personal, social and emotional development
Language and communication
Mathematics
Knowledge and understanding of the world
Physical development Creative development

Emphasis is placed upon learning through play and small group work

Our pre-school offers education and care for all children below school age and over the age of 2 years. In the term following your child's third birthday he/she will become eligible for Early Years Funding (according to government availability). This enables children to attend pre-school for one session a day for up to five sessions a week.

The number of sessions required for each child is the complete personal choice of their parents/carers.

Parents are welcome to stay with their child on their first session.
